Glenda Earnest  ~  The Artist Glenda discovered her creativity at a young age. While in school she eagerly looked forward to art classes, working with all media in the wide world of arts and crafts. She first contracted acrylic paintings for teachers in high school, and she continues personal and custom art to this day. With only one short adult watercolor class, she’s proud to say she’s mostly self-taught and self-motivated to create paintings and projects with her creative personal style for all to enjoy! During the summer she set up her personal booth for the “Artists’ Market” in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Glenda’s been happily married 21 years and has two adult sons. Gerry Harrah  ~  The Author Gerry Gerell Harrah was born and raised in Kirkwood, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. She graduated form DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, where she met her future husband to be, Jim. She received a degree in Elementary Education and upon graduation taught the first grade for several years. Since then she has owned her own business which comprises a retail shop, 3 Bed and Breakfast suites and a Bistro. She also freelances in interior design. She and her husband Jim have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Gerry always had a love for teddy bears, and as a child they were her constant companions. It wasn’t until later in life, however, that she started her collection which became the inspiration for these stories.
